Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature and this is what makes it so special.
Fossilized tree sap that has been preserved for millions of years under the sea.

The string on each of this necklace is knotted by hand in between each and every bead, so should the necklace break (which it should if necessary), the rest of the beads will not scatter.
The jewelry fastens with a classic screw clasp that opens and closes easily.

You should be able to put two fingers between your child's neck and the necklace and the child should not be able to reach the necklace to his/her mouth. 
This jewelry is made for wearing, never for chewing!

SAFETY

This jewelry has been lab-tested for safety in a USA CPSIA-approved lab and is approved for children age 0+. This brands children's jewelry is individually hand-knotted between each bead so that if the necklace were to break, only one bead would be released and not the entire strand. They're necklaces are designed to break away at 10lbs of pressure -- If you (or your child) tug on the necklace, it will snap at the clasp. 

Wear your Baltic Amber necklace next to the skin, under clothing. For children, remove jewelry during nap and sleep times. Avoid chlorine, detergents and cleansers. To care for your Baltic Amber, clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
